Disclamer: I would like to say that this was a terrible accident, and just because I disagree with the parents propelling this endless stream of well we should have been warned lawsuits I do feel very sorry for them, my heart goes out.

Thank you goverment, for letting me know that bats and baseballs could cause injury/and or death. Simple logic could not have told me that if a ball goes flies through the air at speeds up to 98mph and if its hit with as much force as a young man can put into his whole body and channel through his arm that the ball will fly at an even greater speed harder and faster then it was from the start expecially with an alumminum bat (sp?) that it could hurt and/or kill me. Thank you I was too stupid to figure that out. What would I do without you?
Maybe drop hot coffee in my lap...
Or Maybe forget that I need to remove my child before folding the stroller...
Swallow a three proned fishing lure?
Drive while my cardboard sunsheild is in place?
Use my power electric drill for my teeth...
I might allow my children to play in the diswasher.
Seiously? Why are people allowed to sue for things that would be prevented only with a little common since? What is the reason metal bats are used? To make the ball go farther and faster! Its a terrible accident that happened to these people, my prayers are with their families but seriously why do we let such frivolous lawsuits keep getting so much wins? They clog up the system and allow people, lazy people to cry and whine about something while getting their 15 mins of fame. You know what I bet those kids loved the game, I bet it was like the very blood in their vines, its really an injustice to these kids.
You know what... I've been getting cramps in my hands from the keyboard I think I'll just sue HP. (I wont, please don't freak out)
